Calgary is
nestled between the Rocky Mountains to the west and the Prairies to the east.
Calgary hosted the 1988 Winter Olympics and still possesses the memories of the
games, which are now Calgary's main sightseeing spots such as Saddle dome,
Canada Olympic Park, and Calgary Tower.
Modern and safe. Calgary
combines the benefits of a big city with friendliness of a small town. Calgary
is also known for its warm people. Close to Calgary are many Provincial and
National parks, which offers beautiful views, excellent skiing & hiking
opportunities, and other outdoor activities you haven't experienced in your
country.
Just an hour's drive from Calgary is Banff National Park, which
is Canada's oldest and most famous national park. People from all over the world
marvel at the emerald waters of Lake Louise, walk amongst the beautiful
flower-filled heavens, and drive beneath the towering jagged peaks lining the
Ice fields Parkway. You could also come across North America's wildest
creatures, including grizzly bears, caribou and wolves.
